Galie Jean-Louis teaches Shiva Rea style Prana Flow® Yoga in Bellingham Washington from her studio overlooking the San Juan Islands.

Galie shares a long time interest in healthy communities and integrative medicine with a focus on women’s health and has studied wellness and nutrition with Dr. Andrew Weil and world-renowned Prana Flow® Yoga founder Shiva Rea.  Jean-Louis holds the specialized Prana Flow® Yoga 200 hour RYT certification and also assists Shiva Rea in her teacher trainings. Galie is currently pursuing the advanced 500 hour RYT training with Shiva Rea and Samudra School of Yoga. In addition to studies with Gurmukh, Angela Farmer, and Dr. Paul Muller Ortega, Galie draws from her time living in India and her experience as former Executive Art Director of the acclaimed news site to lead each class with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Through her award winning and internationally recognized creative and communication skills, she encourages practitioners of all ages to become yogic explorers, adventuring into the roots and fluid power of yoga. She resides with her husband and pets in beautiful Bellingham Bay.

Prana Flow® Yoga is an energetic, creative, full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by master teacher Shiva Rea and the Global Vinyasa Collective of Teachers.  Students of all levels are empowered to experience prana - the universal source of breath, life-energy - as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital radiant living. Practitioners learn classical and innovative approaches to vinyasa yoga and radiant health by living in the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Hatha,Tantra, Ayurveda, Kundalini and Somatic sciences. Prana Flow® Yoga is also an evolutionary method of embodied transformation cultivating: inner and outer strength and fluidity, skill and intuition, vital energy and relaxed being through balanced and creative fluid yoga asana sequences (vinyasas). Classes can include breathing techniques, movement/meditations and Prana Flow® Yoga, ending with deep relaxation.
